ABOUT URSULA BURGESS
Ursula Burgess is an educated human from San Francisco with a degree in sociology from Occidental College. She speaks some of five languages and has lived on four continents. While in Seoul, South Korea, Ursula completed her Advanced Certificate in Web Design at Sessions University and freelanced as a web and graphic designer. In her spare time, she organized an improvisational comedy troupe and wrote a daily comedy show for a national radio station. She traveled with the indie rock band, “The Rub,” as singer-songwriter and bass guitarist and co-founded the art and music collective Crazy Multiply that has now grown into a non-profit organization.
After discovering her obsession with designing posters for rock shows, Ursula earned her Master of Fine Arts in Art Direction at the Academy of Art University and promptly moved to New Zealand to work at Y&R and then to SF. Since then, she has had the great privilege of designing at Digitas, Tapjoy, MRY, Fluid, Design Kitchen, Recreation, Questus, Huge, and now has moved into Product Design management at Marqeta.
